This early-harvested, green Hojiblanca has the typical herbaceous spiciness that has made this variety and style so popular. It is highly aromatic with a strong spicy herbal aroma. It has intense fruitiness, appropriate bitterness and strong pungency. The flavor is quite complex with many nicely balanced characteristics of grass, green banana, mint, cinnamon and black pepper.

This homemade hummus trumps store bought anyday!
- 2 cups garbanzo beans, well drained
- 1/4 cup Olive Basin Hojiblanca Extra Virgin Olive oil
- 1/2 cup Olive Basin Chipotle Olive Oil
- 2 Tablespoons Lemon juice
- 1/2 Teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoon garlic, minced
Mix together in blender. Add more Olive Oil if too thick.
Serve with crackers, veggies or almost anything!
