Every time I smell those aromas coming from the oven it brings back memories of pies cooling on the windowsill at Grandma's, and how we had to "shoo" flies away from their sweetness!
We believe Shoofly Pie is best enjoyed with a heaping scoop of vanilla ice cream. Get a few extras for the freezer...they disappear in a hurry!
