By the time we reduce the berries to jam, the flavor is so intense that a little on your toast goes a long way. For a special treat on a cold winter's night, try mixing it in your hot chocolate.

  • Spread it on toast, bagels, muffins, and anything else you want to add a burst of sweetness to
  • Elevate your cheese, yogurt, or other dairy products by adding a spoonful of flavorful fruit jelly, jam, preserve or marmalade
  • Add to your store-bought glazes, sauces, and dressings to make them sing!
  • Gluten free
  • Made at Kitchen Kettle Village in Lancaster County, from our own special recipe

Ingredients: Red Raspberry Puree, Sugar, Corn Syrup, Water, Pectin, Citric Acid.

Manufactured in a facility that handles peanuts, eggs, and soy.

Featured Recipe: Fresh Fruit Berry Trifle

DESCRIPTION

A beautiful and delicious layered dessert for berry season.

INGREDIENTS

  • 3 small boxes instant vanilla pudding
  • 4 1/2 cups milk
  • 16 ounces Cool Whip, divided
  • 2 quarts fresh assorted berries, washed and drained well
  • 1/2 pint (10oz.) jar Kitchen Kettle Seedless Raspberry Jam
  • 12 Snickerdoodle Cookies, broken into bite size chunks
  • For garnish: fresh berries and fresh mint leaves, optional

INSTRUCTIONS

In a large bowl, mix pudding mix and milk with a wire whisk. Fold in 12 ounces of Cool Whip. Set aside.

In a microwave proof bowl, place the Kitchen Kettle Seedless Raspberry Jam and microwave for 1 minute or until it can be easily stirred (but not totally liquid). Gently fold in the assorted berries. Set aside.

To assemble: In a large trifle bowl, place half of the snickerdoodle cookie pieces. Place half of the pudding mix on top and then half of the assorted berries and jam. Repeat layers. Top with the remaining Cool Whip and additional fresh berries and mint, if desired.

At Kitchen Kettle we refer to our jars using three standard sizes:

  • Half Pints - 8 ounces in volume
  • Pints - 16 ounces in volume
  • Quarts - 32 ounces in volume

We are required to label our jars with the actual net weight of the contents, rather than the volume. You'll notice our Half Pint jars will vary between 8 ounces and 10 ounces in net weight; our Pint jars range from 16 ounces to 20 ounces in net weight; and our Quart jars weigh between 32 and 36 ounces.

Why do the net weighs vary? Although we use the same size jar, a jam made with chunks of fruit will weigh more than a jelly that's made with just the juice of a fruit.

If you have any questions about our jars sizes, we're happy to help! Give us a call at 800-717-6198 or email us at sales@kitchenkettle.com
