Featured Recipe: Black Bean Summer Salad

A healthy salad perfect for any time of the year.

  • 1 - 34 oz. (qt.) jar Kitchen Kettle Corn Relish
  • 2 Cups dried black beans
  • 1 red pepper, diced
  • 1/2 Cup Olive Basin Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1/2 Cup Olive Basin Traditional Balsamic Vinegar
  • 1/2 Cup lemon juice
  • 2 Tbsp. dried cilantro

Mix all ingredients thoroughly and marinate overnight in refrigerator.

At Kitchen Kettle we refer to our jars using three standard sizes:

  • Half Pints - 8 ounces in volume
  • Pints - 16 ounces in volume
  • Quarts - 32 ounces in volume

We are required to label our jars with the actual net weight of the contents, rather than the volume. You'll notice our Half Pint jars will vary between 8 ounces and 10 ounces in net weight; our Pint jars range from 16 ounces to 20 ounces in net weight; and our Quart jars weigh between 32 and 36 ounces.

Why do the net weighs vary? Although we use the same size jar, a jam made with chunks of fruit will weigh more than a jelly that's made with just the juice of a fruit.

Worth the shipping!

I live in Honolulu and have been buying Kitchen Kettle Corn Relish for many many years! I love it! Of course the boxes are heavy and so the shipping is steep but it is worth the money to me to be able to have it! I eat it almost every day, a little dollop on cottage cheese! As we say in Hawaii, "ono" (yummy)!

Corn Relish

I love this Corn Relish. I use it to cook with. It is so good on Fish, Port and Chicken. You can use it as a dip. It is so good.

Difficult Decision

I find it so hard to decide which salsa I like best that I have to buy all 3. Some are sweeter than others but I don't mind it.

Best Corn Relish

Kitten Kittle makes the absolute best corn relish on the market today. Nobody else can even come close. I always keep 4 or 5 jars on hand, so that I never run out. I eat it right out of the jar, and even add it to my tuna fish salad, along with mayo. mmmm good! Keep up the good work.

Happy Shopper

Loved everything I purchased. Delicious!
