Pepper Cabbage

Imagine a vinegary sweet-tasting Cole slaw, but hold the mayo. Our Kling House Restaurant uses Pepper Cabbage, along with smoked turkey, Swiss cheese, and Thousand Island dressing on rye for our Rachel. Even better is a side dish we call Kitchen Kettle Zesty Salad that has Pepper Cabbage, mandarin oranges, pineapples, cauliflower and apples – refreshing and delectable!

Ingredients: Cabbage, Sugar, Water, Red Peppers (Red Bell Peppers, Water, Vinegar, Citric Acid, Salt, Sugar, and Calcium Chloride), Distilled Vinegar, Salt.

Manufactured in a facility that handles peanuts, eggs, and soy.

A refreshing side salad!


  • 1 pint - Kitchen Kettle Pepper Cabbage
  • 1 medium sized can mandarin oranges (drained)
  • 1 medium sized can cubed pineapple (drained)
  • 1 cup fresh cauliflower
  • 2 chopped apples (optional)


Combine above ingredients into a bowl and stir together. Refrigerate at least one hour before serving. Can be made two days in advance.
