Wonderful memories of kitchen kettle.
I'm 66 and when I was young, my parents would go to Lancaster often. My Mother loved it there and adored Amish people. She was so impressed by their culture. They would bring these cookies home for us. I loved them. Years later, my (now ex) husband and I would drop the kids at Gramma's and go to Lancaster once a year. Visiting Antique Marts and The Kitchen Kettle. Everything there is delicious, but I would buy 2 dozen of these cookies. Now, I order them here. They are so incredibly delicious. They're soft, but still have a crumble and taste like no other Oatmeal Raisin Cookie. I have no idea what the secret ingredients are but, boy do I wish I had the recipe.
These cookies are so good! Definitely will be ordering more. Taste like my grandmother’s cookies!!
