Sicilian Lemon Balsamic

Playfully tart yet pleasantly sweet, our Sicilian lemon balsamic has an excellent balanced acidity and a crisp, lemon flavor and aroma. It is fabulous with seafood, in dressings or in mixed drinks. Use in marinades, cocktails, rubs, or simply add a splash to sparkling water. Makes a fantastic contribution to salad dressings.

*Pairs well with garlic olive oil, lime olive oil, lemon olive oil, basil olive oil, Tuscan herb olive oil or our Baklouti chili oil.

  • Highly aromatic and intensely flavorful
  • Lower-fat alternative to many processed salad dressings
  • Great for adding a splash of brightness when finishing sauces and soups
  • Pair with your favorite cheese or reduce to a syrup and drizzle over ice cream for a decadent dessert
  • Mix with soda water for a refreshing spritzer, or with something harder for a specialty cocktail

Featured Recipe: Sicilian Lemon Vodka Soda

DESCRIPTION

A fantastic summer refresher!

INGREDIENTS

  • 4 oz. Club Soda, Perrier, or sparkling water
  • 1 oz. Olive Basin Sicilian Lemon Balsamic Vinegar
  • 1.5 oz. Vodka (we like Tito's but anything will do)
  • 1 lemon wedge

INSTRUCTIONS

Pour vodka, club soda, and balsamic vinegar into a rocks glass over ice. Garnish with the lemon wedge and enjoy!

Pro Hints
Make sure your drink is cold - the colder, the better! That means filling up the glass to the top with ice. Want bonus points? Store your vodka in the freezer to ensure the drink is as chilled as possible. One last thing - go for the small bottles of club soda, they tend to be ultra-carbonated which will add that extra bit of fizz to your drink.
