Wet Bottom Shoofly Pie 10"

Made from a recipe that I still, to this day, keep a secret...Our irresistible 10" Shoofly Pie is made from a special blend of syrup, brown sugar & cinnamon and finished with a crumb topping. A Pennsylvania Dutch tradition, slices of Shoofly Pie are often enjoyed after Sunday dinner, and served as the dessert of choice for holidays, and other special occasions. 

Every time I smell those aromas coming from the oven it brings back memories of pies cooling on the windowsill at Grandma's, and how we had to "shoo" flies away from their sweetness!

We believe Shoofly Pie is best enjoyed with a heaping scoop of vanilla ice cream. Get a few extras for the freezer...they disappear in a hurry!
