This Slow Cooker Ham with Currant Cherry Sauce is a delightful dish perfect for Easter celebrations. The sweet and tangy cherry sauce, combined with the savory ham, creates a mouthwatering flavor profile that will impress your guests.

1 1/2 cups Kitchen Kettle Cherry Jam
1/4 cups Olive Basin Traditional Balsamic Vinegar
1/2 teaspoon ground mustard
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1 bone-in ham, fully cooked, approx. 6-8 lb.
1/2 cup currants
2 teaspoons fresh lemon peel
1 Tablespoon chopped fresh chives
Mix cherry jam, balsamic vinegar, ground mustard, and ginger in a 2-cup glass measuring cup.
Place ham in 6-qt slow cooker, trimming ham if necessary to fit.
Brush ham with about 1/4 cup of the cherry jam mixture.
Refrigerate the remaining cherry jam mixture while the ham cooks.
Cover and cook on low heat setting for 7-8 hours.
About 20 min before ham is done, microwave remaining cherry jam mixture uncovered on high for 4 minutes.
Stir currants and lemon peel into the cherry jam mixture; microwave uncovered on high for about 3 min, or until the mixture just begins to boil.
Stir in chives.
Let cool for about 10 minutes.
Remove ham from the slow cooker.
Slice ham; place on serving platter.
Serve sauce with ham.
